Restaurant Rostei

 

 

The Restaurant Rostei was founded in July 1991 as a family-run business. The building dates back to 1849, and the terrace is shaded by a beautiful Glycine tree which is now almost two centuries old.

It’s been more than twenty years that we have specialized our cuisine on fresh fish and seafood from Costa Brava, with a wide selection of starters adapted to each season and an extensive menu of homemade desserts.

The Restaurant’s cuisine is a fusion of traditional and innovative cuisine by proprietor/hostess Magda Bardagí and chef Josep Maria Esteban. The dessert specialties, among others, are a popular example of this fusion.

Every Friday, the chef introduces new seasonal creations so you’re invited to make special reservations at Rostei on Fridays to enjoy his new culinary surprises.

The restaurant menu changes seasonally and includes a selected variety of delicacies from the sea as well as the countryside.

On weekends -except for the summer season- the regular lunch menu is complemented with other dishes such as rice casserole, lobster risotto and the traditional fideuà.
